My name is Joel Keen.  I’m the owner and publisher of Homes & Land of Northern New York and a photographer.  I spent most of my life in the Watertown, NY area and now reside in Old Forge, NY.  Living in the Adirondacks make photography easy.  I have a love for photography and how capturing a brief moment in time with a photo can encapsulate that moment forever.  I truly enjoy just taking pictures, whether it is weddings, landscape photos, portraits, real estate pictures, or even taking selfies, I simply love it.  I received my Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Certificate (or drone license for short), so I can use my UAV for commercial purposes. I do Real Estate Photography, Wedding Photography, Family Photography, Senior and School Photography, Aerial Photography and Event Photography. I am mostly self taught but I also don't recreate the wheel, which gives me a feeling of freedom with taking the pictures that I want to take.
